In recognition of his numerous efforts to put Africa especially Nigeria in the global spot-light, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Africa to the rest of the world, The Founder and Chief Executive of BEN Television London, Dr. Alistair Soyode has been honoured with the Icon Leadership Award by The Presidential Diary Magazine.

The Award ceremony was part of activities marking the 5th year anniversary of the monthly publication dedicated to democracy and good governance of president Muhammadu Buhari. it a way of recognizing the laudable achievements of notable Nigerians who gave and still giving their best for the advancement of Democratic principles and governance in Nigeria.

Dr. Soyode a former Presidential candidate under the Yes Party in the 2019 general elections is The founder of the first Black Oriented ethnic Television station in Europe, BEN Television London. He is also a formal chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Europe NIDOE, Alistair as he is fondly called is one man that has contributed immensely to the development of Nigeria by helping to tell the Nigeria story different to the rest of the world.

As a coach and mentor to so many young Nigerians home and and abroad, Alistair Soyode believes in the Nigeria of our dreams, a conviction that motivated him to contest on the last general elections in Nigeria.

in his opening remarks chairman Editorial Board of the Presidential Diary Magazine Alhaji Mohammed Tukur said there was a need to recognize outstanding Nigerians that are contributing to nation building across all spheres, and the presidential diary magazine jas stepped in to bridge that gap.
