The All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken a fresh step towards expanding its political mobilisation strategy ahead of the 2027 general elections with the unveiling of a digital platform designed to connect candidates with supporters and volunteers across Nigeria and the diaspora.
The platform, known as DiasporaRHA.com, was introduced by the Directorate of Diaspora Mobilisation of the APC Presidential Campaign Council 2027 as part of efforts to leverage technology for political participation, campaign communication and grassroots organisation.
The initiative is expected to provide participating APC candidates seeking elective positions at the presidential, governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly levels with additional tools to organise supporters and coordinate campaign activities.
Unlike conventional campaign structures that depend largely on physical meetings and community-based mobilisation, the new platform seeks to establish a digital network through which supporters can identify with candidates, register as volunteers and participate in campaign activities of their choice.
Speaking on the development, the Director of the Directorate of Diaspora Mobilisation, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, said technology had become an important instrument for political participation and could complement existing grassroots structures.
She explained that DiasporaRHA.com was designed to bridge digital engagement with traditional political organisation, allowing candidates to communicate and coordinate with willing supporters across different levels of the political structure.
The platform offers digital campaign profiles, volunteer registration, supporter engagement tools and coordination systems covering states, senatorial districts, federal constituencies, state constituencies and local communities.
It also incorporates dashboards for monitoring participation, referrals and the expansion of supporter networks, providing campaigns with additional tools to assess their mobilisation activities.
Dabiri-Erewa said the initiative would also create opportunities for Nigerians living abroad to remain connected with political developments and campaign activities in their respective home constituencies.
To participate, interested Nigerians are required to visit DiasporaRHA.com, create an account, explore participating APC candidates and voluntarily register with campaigns they wish to support.
The Directorate emphasised that participation is voluntary and does not attract financial rewards, payments or gratification.
With the 2027 general elections approaching, the introduction of DiasporaRHA.com signals the APC’s intention to incorporate digital platforms into its campaign architecture, combining online political engagement with established grassroots mobilisation networks.
