The national chairman of People Democratic Party, Adamu Mu’azu has called on the party faithfuls to pray for him to succeed in his task to the party to the greater height.
Mu’azu made the call while playing host to the delegations of the party faithfuls form Kebbi state led by the State Governor Saidu Usman Dakingari at the Party national secretariat in Abuja.
Mu`azu said that although the task ahead was not an easy one, it could be surmounted with prayers and cooperation of party members.
“Beyond paying homage to me, I will like to beg you to come on board very sincerely and work assiduously with me and the Governor and other leaders in Kebbi.
“Cooperate and collaborate with us so that we will be able to achieve even greater success than we have done before.
“I appeal to all of you, I believe in God and so do you. I believe in the powers of prayers, put me in your prayers.
“The job is not easy you need to balance it. I therefore appeal to you all to put me in your prayers, so that this job will be easy for me and my colleagues,” Mu`azu said.
He maintained that if the members of the party in Kebbi were sincere to themselves, the PDP would win the state in the 2015 general election in a land slide.
Earlier, Kebbi Governor Saidu Dakingari said that the visit was to pledge the commitment, loyalty and dedication of members of PDP in Kebbi to the party national chairman and his executive.
He assured that the party that the chapter would deliver Kebbi in 2015 generaelections, adding that the crisis within the Kebbi PDP was being addressed.
“There is no community, no society and no member of a single party who does not have problems; all we need to do is to sort out our problems which are not beyond solving,’’ he said.
