The governor, in a statement, described the Alake as a revered monarch, who is zealous about the welfare of his subjects, progress of Egbaland and development of the state.
He also acknowledged his peaceful 12-year reign on the throne as well as the relentless efforts at sustaining unity among traditional rulers throughout his domain and the state, noting that his fatherly advise has helped in the success of the rebuilding mission of the state government.
“His Royal Highness, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo has exhibited all the virtues of a worthy royal father, who is dedicated to the progress and well being of his subjects. He is also passionate about the growth and development of Egbaland and the state.
“For these, and particularly his wise counsel and untiring support towards our efforts to restore the lost glory of our dear state, we will always be grateful to him”, Amosun added.
Wishing him a successful birthday celebration, the governor prayed that God grant him long life and prosperity as he administers Egbaland in good old age.
