Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Chairman of Corporate Affairs Commission and a founding member of All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, has joined the race to become the next governor of Ogun State. He declared that his governorship ambition was to sustain the legacy of the state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun. He made the declaration in his house in Iperu-Remo on Friday during a press briefing with media personnel and major stakeholders under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for 2019.
PDA as he is popularly called has said he will be the next governor of Ogun State that will change the fortune of the citizens if elected and supported by the electorates. Dapo Abiodun, had won election before winning a senatorial seat as the youngest person to be elected senator in 1992, as well as contested the Senatorial seat of the Ogun East District in 2015. He said it was high time for successful business leaders in private sector to join politics and contributes their skills, expertise and professionalism to develop their community and nation at all levels of governance.
