In a letter read on the floor of senate Andy Uba cited the crises in People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as his reason for defection to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
In a related development senate President Saraki equally reads a letter from the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on the additional nomination Mr Adeyinka Asekun as non-career ambassador designate as well as a letter seeking the confirmation of Justice Walter Onnoghen as Chief Justice of Nigeria.
meanwhile the Minority Leader, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, while making the demand on behalf of the PDP caucus for called Uba’s removal as Chairman, Senate Committee on Public Accounts by Wednesday.
