The new powerful and customer friendly saving television package based on pay as you watch model finally launched in Nigeria.
TSTV was unveiled in Abuja by the Minister of information and culture Mr. Lai Mohammad in presence of global viewers through AIT and other platforms.
The unveiling ceremony was attended and witnessed by top dignitaries, movie industry icons, international board members and media industry leaders in the country.
In his speech, the CEO, Dr. BRIGHT Echefu said the platforn tagged TSTV is a pay-as-you-consume cable TV provider in Nigeria and took more than a year to finalised. The features are so many given the viewers full control of what to watch or do. The company product is a partnership with leading players in the industry.
TSTV is made by Nigerians with international brands. An indigenous digital satellite TV service in Nigeria by leaders and TSTV is building its work force towards recruiting over 5000 Nigerians and presently has about 250 staff.
The Minister of Communication promises the support of Nigerian government towards the successes of the company and provided business and tax relieves for its take off.
Also speaking, BEN Television UK Founder and a member, Mr. Alistair Soyode, said, TSTV is a Nigerian wonder just like he did in Europe. “I am so glad because there is always someone somewhere that values what you do. TSTV has taken the power to watch what you want and pay what you need as you want into the hand of the viewer. Very one should join in making this a success. We can be reache,” he added.
TSTV is an indigenous Nigeria led digital satellite TV service, airing over 96 channels plus international well known channels. The innovation to have a homegrown digital satellite service came from a serious solution finding exploits of African Health Television which was the first in the company brand.
