Ogun State APC candidate Prince Dapo Abiodun appears to be heading to victory in the state’s governorship election.
Our sources predicted a possible victory based on the various polling unit results. The APC candidate held good ground in the nine local governments east of the state, ahead of APM Candidate, Hon. Abdulkabir Akinlade and the PDP candidate, Senator Buruji Kashamu.
Prince Abiodun who is from Ijebu won from early results declared, in Ijebu-Ode and Ijebu North East. The Party (APC) has already won the first House of Assembly election declared in Ijebu-Ode.
The APC candidate won his Ward 3 Unit 2, Ita Osanyin, Iperu, Ikenne Local Government Area with 240 votes beating his closest rival, Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Adekunle Akinlade, who polled 71 votes.
Prince Abiodun defeated the PDP also at the polling unit of Adebutu, LADO, who went into an alliance with Akinlade of APM.
Other places where Prince Dapo Abiodun also held firm are Ado Odo, Egbaland and Remo. While Adekunle Akinlade of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) have an edge in Yewa over the rest. All together so far Prince Abiodun is moving swiftly.
In Lagos state Babajide Sanwo-Olu of APC is also leading ahead of the other parties majorly the PDP Agabje’s in areas such as Alimoso, Badagry, Ikorodu, and Lagos Island.
In Kwara, the APC candidate in the person of Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq appeared to have confirmed the uprooting of the PDP with winning the governorship office in the State with another emphatic win.
