As the on-going National Identity enrollment continues to gain national acceptance, the board members of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) have expressed their support for the exercise, calling on all Nigerians to turn out en mass to register.
in a statement released issued Thursday, The NOA Board Chairman, Col. Paul Orbi (rtd) made this known on behalf of all the board members when they visited the National Identification Number (NIN) enrollment center at the NOA Headquarters premises.
Col. Orbi commended the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) for the initiative, noting that the enrollment process was very easy and takes only a few minutes. “I am really impressed by this effort. Under few minutes, I have completed my registration and now I can boldly say that I am a Nigerian with evidence to prove”, said the Board Chairman.
While commending the NOA for partnering with NIMC to provide a center within the premises to serve the public, the NOA Board Chairman enjoined members of the public to avail themselves the opportunity provided by the center to register themselves before the deadline in December 2014.
