In line with the recommendations submitted by the presidential advisory committee on how to go about setting up the national conference, the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), has inaugurated the NBA national conference and constitutional review committee to articulate its position during the national dialogue and conference.
NBA President Okey Wali, SAN who inaugurated the committee said the committee is to address the issues affecting the setting up and the working of the conference, which are representation, political structure, social security among others.
The NBA boss urge the committee to live up to expectations of the people bearing in mind that the goal is to bequeath a better and greater nigeria to the present and the generation to come.
The 15 man committee includes Awa Kalu, SAN as chairman, Sen. Abubakar Sodangi to serve as Alternate Chair, Mr. Mohammed Audi, Esq, Mr. Vincent Ogbumgbada, Esq, Mrs. Julie Okagbue, Mrs. Pat Igwebuike, Mr. Mohammed Monguno, Esq, Dr. Anthony Okorodas, Mr. Paul Ubom, Esq, Mr. Sule Usman, Esq, Mr. Asafa Olalekan Sanusu, Esq, Mrs. Blessing Amadi, to serve as members, while Titi Akinlawo, Esq, to serve as secretary and Mr. S.G. Long Williams as alternate secretary.
