My simple and sincere advise to all Nigerians calling Atiku all sorts of names now is to thread with caution.
My reasons are not far fetched.
Buhari was called many names prior to his election victory, but when the power gladiators decided that was his turn to rule Nigeria, many name callers had to swallow their utterances in shame.
I will say this again, if the power gladiators in Nigeria, especially the Northern Oligarchy, decides that it is Atiku’s turn to have a shot at the presidency, all these name callings becomes mere rants and meaningless.
My suggestion is this: Let’s begin to engage Atiku and any other aspirants for the presidency
How and when do they intend to achieve what?
Buhari promised to tackle corruption and jail all looters but we were so carried away and distracted to ask him how does he intend to achieve that, but now that he is in power, he just realized that we need special tribunal and enabling laws to put looters in jail.
If we had asked him, he probably could’ve thought of other means.
We have been hearing Atiku supporting restructuring, let us begin to ask him now, if elected, how does he intend to get the consent of the two legislative chambers and the state legislative chambers to make restructuring a reality?
Don’t let us be blinded by emotions.
Buhari, Obasanjo, Atiku and other politicians are all the same set of people with just different names and tribes.
Let us not deceive ourselves further, if it is Atiku they want to give us in 2019, let us begin to ask him salient questions on *When and How does he intends to achieve what?*
