The disputed recently concluded elections in Kenya has been annulled by the Kenya’s Supreme Court.
The affected elections is on the result of the country’s recent presidential election which the opposition disputed. Kenya’s major opposition candidate and leader Mr. Raila Odinga claimed that the commission’s IT system had been hacked and the results manipulated to give victory to incumbent.
The Supreme Court, governing body in the country cited major irregularities and said a new poll should be held within two months (60 days).
Though the electoral Body, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission had declared incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta the winner of last month’s election.
