Nigeria’s Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on Friday approved the appointment of Mrs. Patience Oniha as the new Director-General of Debt Management Office (DMO) following the retirement of Dr. Abraham Nwankwo yesterday after serving his full term of ten years.
Ms. Oniha is from Edo State. In a brief ceremony Friday the new DG met with the outgoing for formalities at the DMO office in Abuja.
She is seen as a member that contributed greatly to the successes achieved over the last ten years in the organisation. A retired director from same agency and served in the Ministry of Finance in the Efficiency Unit before her latest appointment as DG and CEO of DMO.
The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, announced the appointment in Abuja, Nigeria.
