Convener *NIGERIA LEADERSHIP SUMMIT*
Poor people are unique, they are cheerful and in many cases they are friendly and forward looking.
However sometimes the poverty takes root in the MIND OF the individual and when that happens it is no longer a condition, ….
*POVERTY becomes a disease*
A mental affliction with no cure.
Whichever be the case the blaming of others makes it absolutely impossible to pick themselves up from poverty. They look at who to blame and they stubbornly latch on. And they sometimes go as far as killing, rioting and committing all kinds of crimes against humanity against the people they blame for their blow station in Life. This supports and justifies their position and their whooped mind set.
This was the case with the Negroes of the UNITED STATES who only started succeeding as a population after the blame game ended. This is currently the case with the lazy South African black population who are blaming Nigerians and other African immigrants for Thier poverty. And killing Nigerians in the most inhuman way because successful Nigerians have succeeded in SOUTH AFRICA where native blacks have failed.
The misguided youths of the coalition that ordered the Igbo to leave Northern Nigeria in three months also belong to this category of mind stricken poverty.
And Sadly, and I must say unfortunately this is also the case with IPOB and the so called 21st century Biafra agitation.
This new Biafra is championed by a group of people who happen to be JOBLESS, without any income or any visible means of livelihood and its entire popular support is almost exclusively coming from unemployed youths, thugs, failed business people or jobless political jobbers with nothing more to do than fan the embers of HATE. They blame the Fulani for their low station in life, they blame the Fulani for thier unemployment, they blame other Nigerians for their failed businesses, they blame the British for their inability to vote credible leadership in their own States or communities. It’s all *BLAME BLAME BLAME, HATE HATE HATE* they NEVER EVER BLAME THEMSELVES.
Their rhetoric is ridiculous as it is dangerous. It promotes HATE, and it promotes laziness and it absolves the individual of any responsibility in achieving success in his or her own life. It replaces performance and achievement with *entitlement* which can never build a new Nation.
It is their hope that the wealthy successful Igbos who have spent a life time of honest effort building businesses in Northern Nigeria and Western Nigeria which currently are valued at over $250 billion, *an amount far less in value than amounts for which Major Nations such as the United STATES have gone to war to protect*, will be forced to start afresh, brought down to Thier level of poverty a sort of RESET bottom for all Igbos. A mindset which says If I am poor let all Igbos be poor. So they push and push and as soon an opening is sighted they scream ….
_all Igbos should come home abandon your $250billion investments and return to Biafra_
What do these people do when they get to Biafra? They will all sit in circles, twiddle their thumbs and sing all day long. Small Nations do not impress the World, and a small new Nation craved out of Nigeria for the Igbo will be just that, a small new Nation, nothing more.
Nigeria has challenges I agree, unemployment is high, our leadership is inept and productivity is low. However these are Nigerian problems not Igbo problems. Every section of the country is feeling the pressure. So why do some misguided young people want to give these Nigerian challenges and ethnic colouration? That is plain wrong.
It is for this reason that men of good will MUST resist these people and stop them in their tracks before they mislead the Igbo people into the bottomless pit.
