Nigeria and a Brazilian power company have signed a working agreement that will boost the country power supply to the tune of additional 700 mega watt.
At the end signing ceremony in Abuja over the weekend, Nigeria Minister of Power Prof Chinedu Nebo said the development was part of President Jonathan transformation agenda to uplift social economic status of the country through power sector.
The leader of the Brazilian Energy company Rodrigo Badin said the firm will be injecting over 900 million dollars into their first power plant in Nigeria that will be located in Bayesal State in the south south part of the country
Other members of the delegation also commented on the proposed power plants as a good development
